Petra was born and raised in Germany and is a licensed pharmacist in Germany and Canada. In Canada, she worked as a Pharmacy Manager for Loblaws for 6 years before going back to Germany to get her certification as Clinical Pharmacist. After returning to Vancouver, she honed her skills as a floater pharmacist at several different locations and quickly found her way to Pure Pharmacy.

She has been the Pharmacy Manager at the Pure #17 location in West Vancouver since it opened in late 2013. Her training in Pharmaceutical Technology/Compounding and Medicinal Herbs and Traditional Treatments like Homeopathy and Bachflower Remedies made her feel right at home at Pure and she could finally practice in a holistic way again.

Since working at Pure Pharmacy, Petra developed a focus on Women's Health, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Autoimmune Conditions and Athlete's Health. She joined forces with the Menopause Chicks Community and regularly consults on patient cases and participates in talks and events. Empowering patients, teaching them and providing them with the tools they need for an optimal health outcome to enjoy life to the fullest is her main motivation.

In 2022, Petra joined the Pure Pharmacy Head Office Team part-time as the Specialty Pharmacy Services Manager.

Outside of work, Petra is an avid endurance runner and she's very involved with the Trail Running community. If you don't see her out on the trails, she is coaching and consulting other Ultra Endurance Athletes or spending time with her family.
