Douglas DIM Enhanced is a microencapsulated form of diindolylmethane (DIM) designed to promote healthy estrogen balance. Standardized curcumin and green tea extracts are also included alongside wasabia.

Healthy hormone detoxification is a crucial part of the normal functioning of organs, including the breast. DIM is known to help stimulate natural detoxification enzymes and support healthy estrogen metabolism. Studies have shown that curcuminoids, naturally occurring bioactive compounds from turmeric, also scavenge free radicals by providing antioxidants. Since curcumin exhibits poor absorption when consumed orally, DIMÂ Enhanced contains a highly bioavailable curcumin that has up to a 20-fold improvement in bioavailability versus the standard 95% curcumin extracts.

Wasabia japonica (a member of the cruciferous vegetable family) contains long chain isothiocyanates (ITCs), which are unique to wasabia.
