It is this role of vitamin C in the formation of connective tissue that makes it essential for the development and maintenance of bones, cartilage, teeth and gums. Vitamin C is the required coenzyme for two groups of enzymes that catalyze the cross-linking of collagen fibers making vitamin C essential for wound healing. Directions:

Adults: In a glass, add water or juice to 1/2 teaspoon of Effer C and mix. Take once daily with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
