Wound Healing

Wound healing is a very complex function and requires optimal performance by many of the body’s systems.
Serious infections can occur in wounds that are not properly dressed and medicated. Specialized medications and preparations can be used post-surgery and to heal wounds from cuts and injuries.
There are many gels, creams, and ointments that we can prepare to help remove dead tissue, address pain and increase circulation (and therefore healing) in the affected area.
Examples of treatments we can create include customized topical antibiotic treatments, pain ointment, and phenytoin for ulcer healing.
