Colace Glycerin works by dissolving inside the rectum to lubricate and soften the fecal matter, which also helps prevent hemorrhoids caused by straining during a difficult bowel movement. The benefits of suppositories are their ease of use and predictability, giving you control over when and where.

Active ingredient:
96% w/w glycerin, 2.6 g in each suppository.
Non-Active Ingredients:
sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, stearic acid.
Remove suppository from foil by tearing open notched end. Insert into the rectum and allow to remain for 15 to 30 minutes. It is not necessary for the suppository to melt to be effective. Use one suppository per day.
Do not use if you have abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting. Do not use for more than 1 week unless advised by a doctor.
