Lavender – Fine, also known as true lavender or lavender officinale, is most appreciated for being the most fragrant of the lavenders. Lavender essential oil is the most well-known and the most frequently used of virtually any other essential oil. The Romans used it to perfume their clothes and their baths. The word ‘lavender’ comes from the Latin ‘lavare’ which means ‘to wash’.
• Used in aromatherapy for its relaxant properties (sedative, calming, nervine) to help relieve nervousness, irritability and worry and to help with sleep.

Inhalation: Add 4 to 12 drops of essential oil to a bowl of steaming hot water/facial steam machine. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes.
For external and occasional use only. Do not take orally. Do not use essential oils undiluted. Keep out of reach of children. May cause allergic reaction (e.g. Skin rashes, irritation, dermatitis, irritation of the respiratory tract); in which case, discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner. If nausea, dizziness, headache or allergic reactions occur, discontinue use. Do not use on inflamed skin or if suffering from dermatitis. Avoid exposing the treated area to sunlight for 24h to 48h after application. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist.
