Whether it is your first or fifth time having a baby, it is our priority to ensure that you and your newborn have a safe, healthy and happy experience - before and after labour. We are aware of the physical changes that your body goes through during the process. We have many resources and compounded preparations that can help minimize the negative effects of these changes.

The issues that can arise during and after pregnancy include stretch marks, blocked breast milk ducts, inadequate milk production, and sore or cracked nipples during breastfeeding. The hormonal changes that occur postpartum can also cause discomfort for many new mothers. At Pure Integrative Pharmacy, we are able to customize preparations for all of these problems and offer support to new mothers throughout this journey.

One of our most commonly used compound for stretch marks is Pracasil. Pracasil is a silicone-based cream appropriate for both new and old scars, promotes a healing, soothing and nurturing environment, rich in skin-friendly fatty acids and lipids, can be used with or without active ingredients. It is formulated without gluten, casein, dye and parabens, among other allergens. Our patients love the results they see on stretch marks post-partum with this topical medication.
