Douglas Relora-Plex is a unique blend of two herbal extracts, Magnolia officinalis and Phellodendron amurense, combined with B vitamins for the maintenance of good health. Magnolia officinalis and Phellodendron amurense are used in traditional Herbal Medicine to temporarily relieve symptoms of perceived stress. When the body experiences stress, cortisol secretion increases, causing a breakdown of muscle protein and the release of amino acids to form glucose via gluconeogenesis.

In a randomized control trial conducted on moderately stressed adults, Relora was shown to decrease salivary cortisol exposure indicating a reduction in cortisol released from the adrenal glands. Participants also reported a reduction in feelings of stress and improvements in sleep disturbances and restlessness attributed to stress. Relora allows individuals to feel less stress without causing drowsiness throughout the day.
